When Jesus said, "I will build My church" (Matthew 16:18), He referred not to a physical building but to a spiritual assembly united in faith.

The early apostles viewed the ekklesia as a vibrant community of believers, emphasizing relationships, discipleship, and communal worship over location. Yet, over time, "church" became more synonymous with places than people. Today, there's a growing desire to revisit the essence of the ekklesia, moving beyond structures to genuine community.
