Disembarkation Day Symphony of the Seas Port of Miami
In this video we disembark Symphony of the Seas at the Port of Miami. If you're planning to disembark from this cruise ship in the future, I've got all the details on the process so you can be well-prepared.

First things first, before you even disembark, make sure you have all your belongings packed and ready to go. The night before disembarkation, you'll receive luggage tags to attach to your suitcases so they can be collected by the ship's crew and taken off the ship for you. You'll need to have these tags attached to your luggage and placed outside your cabin by a certain time the evening before disembarkation.

Once you're ready to disembark, you'll need to make your way to the designated meeting point on the ship. This will be communicated to you via the ship's announcements and/or the daily newsletter provided in your cabin. You'll be assigned a specific time slot based on your deck or cabin location to disembark, so make sure to pay attention to the schedule and don't be late.

When it's time for your assigned time slot, you'll make your way to the gangway where you'll scan your SeaPass card one last time. This is when you officially disembark the ship and enter the Port of Miami. There may be a bit of a line as everyone is disembarking at the same time, but it moves pretty quickly.

Once you're off the ship, you'll need to locate your luggage. This will be divided by luggage tag color in a large warehouse-type area. There will be plenty of porters around to help you find your luggage if you're not sure where to go. Just make sure to have your luggage tags handy to make the process smoother.

Once you have your luggage, you'll need to clear customs and immigration. This process can take anywhere from 20 minutes to an hour depending on how busy it is. Just be patient and have your passport and any necessary documents ready to go. Now a days they are face scanning and it goes a lot faster.

After you've cleared customs, you'll exit the port and find yourself in a sea of taxis and shuttle buses. If you have transportation arranged, make sure to follow the instructions provided by your transportation company. If not, there will be plenty of taxis available to take you to your destination.
