I've been a long time lusting after these Ashley Iles Dovertail chisels, and finally it was time to pull the trigger and get them. I also wanted to make the handles myself, so here they are.
The handles are Burl oak and Flamed maple laminated, made octagonal and turned on a lathe with a leather bolster on the end mainly for looks.
