Just days after a man being chased down by a raccoon in Scarborough I come home to a raccoon that looks healthy and aware of its surroundings but definitely not behaving like it should. This would be the first signs of distemper. Working around raccoons for 15 years you get to know the nature of them and this one was off. Just the other day I had a customer call saying they found someone's pet raccoon because it had come right up to them looking for food. Well now you know that when they behave like this stay away because they are unpredictable.
