I am a watercolor paint maker based in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. I live in a tiny off grid cabin in the woods. I make color pigments and watercolors by hand, and lately I’ve been using my skills to recycle unwanted makeup and turn it into watercolor paint. This started off as a hobby, but thanks to TikTok it is now a career. What a joy! - Carlynne Bergette
If you’d like to make your own makeup watercolors, the liquid I’m using is called watercolor binder. I have a recipe for it in my linktree and on my channel, and I also sell it in my shop.
