I took the KRL Commuterline Train for my first time from Jogja to Surakarta (Solo City). The train was totally clean and they had a pretty well working aircon. Yogyakarta Train Station was new and clean as well. In total it took me around 75 minutes until I arrived in Solo. And the ticket price was also cheap, for the train ticket I paid only 8000 IDR (around $0.50) and for the card (can be topped up again and again) I had to pay 35.000 IDR (less than $2.50).
