Watching someone stuff their face with junk food can be downright painful. Well as it turns out, it's painful for them too. That's because we are what we eat, right?! So if you're constantly eating unhealthy, processed, inflammatory, acid forming foods that are ridden with gluten, aspartame, pesticides, and/or mycotoxins then it should be of no surprise that you're suffering from chronic pain symptoms, autoimmune disease(s), cancer, heart disease, diabetes, or Alzheimer's. Because the consumption of foods like these put your body in a chronically inflamed condition that not only exacerbates your aches and pains, but also compromises your immune system thus making you more prone to some pretty serious health conditions like I previously mentioned above. So what's a Posture Guy or Gal to do to upgrade their health and relieve their pain sooner rather than later? Eat an anti-inflammatory diet that is designed to help aid you in your pursuit of a pain free and active life.
Being that I am The Posture Guy and not the "Nutrition" or "Diet" Guy I will do my best to explain to you how to go about doing so in the video above and through colorful infographics provided curtesy of Dave Asprey ([ Ссылка ]), creator of the Bulletproof Diet (shown below), and owner/operator of [ Ссылка ].
Keep in mind that for all intents and purposes of this post the following diet is meant to be used as an anti-inflammatory diet. But that's not it's only use. Many people, my wife and I included, have experienced fat loss, muscle growth, strength gains and cognitive performance enhancement by following such a diet. And you can too! Just follow the guidelines and illustrated menu below:
- Drink a minimum of half your bodyweight in ounces of water per day. Shoot closer towards 1-1.5 gallons if your job includes manual labor or if you engage in regular physical activity such as working out.
- Target 50-60% of calories from healthy fats (this is easy and tastes good), 20% from protein, and the rest from vegetables. There's no need to count calories!
- Avoid sugars, starches, grains, soy, milk, cheese, and any processed foods (usually anything that comes in a bag, box, or can that is found towards the center of the grocery story).

I know this is a lot to digest (pun intended), but I sincerely believe that our diet is the foundation that we build our physical bodies on. Without a sound diet our bodies are doomed from the start to crumble and fail. So drink your water, eat well, and keep moving.
