What’s festive season without sweets? Here’s another healthy try of apple peda with jaggery & Milk powder. Easy, quick & delicious sweet which can be done in minutes! Who can say no to these cute apples?

Ingredients: makes 8 small apples(pedas)
* 1/4 cup Water
* 1/2 cup Jaggery
* 2.5 tsp Ghee
* 1 cup Milk powder
* 2 tbsp warm milk + generous pinch saffron
* 1/4 cup Milk
* 1 tsp Beetroot powder with water( red colour of apple)
* 8 cloves (apple stem)
* Ghee to grease plate

Notes:
+ Make sure the Jaggery just melts while preparing Jaggery syrup. No need of any consistency. Do not add more water than mentioned.
+ Cook everything until it separates the pan. Over cooking may result in chewy pedas, as Jaggery thickens faster than sugar. Cook only in medium flame.
+ You can add Cardamom powder or based on preference. Traditional recipe is done this way.
+ Make balls when the mixture is warm to touch. Once cool down, it thickens.
