On the 21st March 2014 the Joint Committee for Vaccination and Immunisation (JCVI) recommended that a meningococcal Group B meningitis and septicaemia (MenB) vaccine be introduced into the childhood immunisation programme.
We seem no nearer to protecting our children in the UK from these deadly diseases.
Kate Turner's son, Ben, survived meningococcal meningitis and septicemia when he was 16. She supports the introduction of this new vaccine, which will protect children from the disease.
