This is a quick 5 minute leg day cool down that has stretches for your legs & glutes and will show you how to stretch legs after a workout! These lower body stretches will help with sore leg muscles and stiffness you may be feeling the next few days after your workout as well.
Recovery from DOMS (Delayed onset muscle soreness) truly can feel like the worst but the pain can be managed with some stretches. I did a killer leg workout that left me sore for DAYS and this cool down helped alleviate the soreness I had! You can do this leg cool down with ALL FLOOR EXERCISES directly after your leg workout or in the days following when your muscles are tight.
I added more stretches at the end of the workout that you can do after this 5 minute leg stretch if you are still feeling like you need more.
