Ingredients

Roasted Split green gram - 1 cup
Coconut - 1 (to extract 1st coconut milk and second coconut milk)
Molten Jaggery - 1/2 cup
Dried ginger powder - 1 tsp
Cardamom powder - 1 tsp
Roasted cumin powder - 1 tsp
Dry coconut - 1 tbsp
Cashew nut - 1 tbsp
Ghee
Salt
Preparing method

1. Roast the dal until golden brown and wash it.
2. Cook dal with pinch of salt in cooker for 2 whistles
3. Extract 1st and 2nd coconut milk. Add the flavouring powders in 1st coconut milk
4. Meanwhile melt jaggery cubes with little amount of water and purify it.
5. Mash the dal and add jaggery extract slowly and boil it.
6. Then add 2nd coconut milk and nicely stir( make sure you don't overboil)
7. Lastly add 1st coconut milk ( usually is thicker). Once you see the bubble, switch off the flame.( Never boil it)
8. Temper with dry kernel and Cashewnuts
