Rail strike support is "getting stronger" amongst train workers and the public one year on from the first Aslef ballot, the union's general secretary has said.
Teachers, university lecturers, civil servants, bus drivers and security guards are also all taking part in strikes - on the biggest day of industrial action in over a decade.
