Two Russian Su-27 fighter escorted an Belgian Air Force F-16 aircraft in the sky over the Baltic Sea. This was reported in the press service of the Western Military District for the Baltic Fleet on April 25.
The incident occurred on the eve when the crews of the naval aviation of the Baltic Fleet performed planned flights over the neutral waters of the Baltic Sea. During the operation, an aerial target was found, which headed for the state border of the Russian Federation. Two Su-27 fighters from the Baltic Fleet aviation group were identified for its identification and escort.
