My entry for the " Better Light Than Never" lighting contest.
This was me finally taking the time to play with different features of UE5.
Wanted to create a little story where I can utilize all the new features as much as possible!
I tried emissive lights, volumetric, blinking, and animated. Played with Metahumans, control rig, face control rig, created some animations in engine with anim BP. Tried out the awesome modeling tools and let’s not forget the sequencer…all in all, it was worth it, I learned a lot!
As for the scenes: No raytracing, no baking, fully dynamic scenes, all Lumen.
