1 chicken cut into pieces (boiled with salt and vinegar)
1 tablespoon ghee
2 onions diced
1 teaspoon garlic minced
1 teaspoon ginger minced
2 tablespoons whole pilau mix (see contents below)
1/2 kg potatoes large cubes
1 sweet Pepper diced
Salt to taste
2 cups basmati rice
4 cups chicken broth (used to boil the chicken)

PS my simple pilau mix (spices) is a combination of:-

Whole cloves
Whole cinnamon sticks
Whole jeera or cumin
Whole black Pepper corns
Whole cardamom
