You can take photos or videos from this digital microscope. There is a button on the camera for photos, but you can also click on the software button to take a picture.
Once the software is installed and the microscope is assembled on the stand, just plug in the USB connection and you are ready to go.
Our Review :
1) The microscope can magnify to such a small level and it is impressive.
2) The software is easy to use and overall this product is just amazing.
3) You can not used this microscope for seeing details of bloods cells or more in it as it is entry level magnifier. (For that purpose, you need better digital microscope.)

1) The drivers and software are not included, but there is a link to them in the included "quick start" guide.
Consideration :
1) This product has no automatic focusing mechanism because this would require multiple lenses and motors in an array, which would significantly increase the product price.
