In episode 14, Chris chats with Mohawk Matt, a former grafitti writer, gang member, drug addict and prisoner. Matt managed to turn his life around and is now clean and sober and a model for Sullen Art Collective clothing company, dedicated to helping others through their struggles.
Growing up in the San Fernando Valley of Los Angeles, Mohawk Matt had a middle-class upbringing and played sports, almost making it as a professional baseball player. However, his life took a different turn as he got involved with graffiti and eventually gangs, leading him to drugs, criminal activity and eventually prison.
Despite the challenges he faced, Mohawk Matt was able to turn his life around. He overcame addiction and found a new purpose in life, using his experiences to help others and make a positive impact.
