Bartenders from around the world share their favourite home-made cocktail recipes, in this new instalment of the #PassTheShaker challenge, a campaign uniting bars during these difficult times whilst spreading awareness for local initiatives.
Here are the bartenders' tasty cocktails:
00:00 Colin Chia from Find The Locker Room making a Harakiri Cocktail.
𝐈𝐧𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬:
45 ml Ketel One Citroen Vodka
20 ml Matcha Syrup (mix together 5g matcha powder, 250g sugar and 250ml hot water)
20 ml Umeshu
90 ml Tomato juice
20 ml Fresh lemon juice
8 Cracks of salt
8 Cracks of black pepper
𝐌𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐝:
Shake all ingredients together in a shaker.

Altos Tequila
Triple Sec Taco Mix
Lime
Coriander Salt

𝐈𝐧𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬:
1 oz Tanqueray Gin
1 oz Mancino Vermouth
1 oz Campari
1/2 oz Mr. Black Coffee Liqueur
1 dash grapefruit bitters
1 dash orange bitters
𝐌𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐝:
Add your ingredients to your shaker with ice, strain and roll. Pour into a glass and garnish with orange.

𝐈𝐧𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬:
30 ml V.S.O.P. Cognac
15 ml chestnut syrup
10 ml Crème de Pêche
Stir, top up with Perrier.
𝐌𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐝:
Stir, top up with Perrier. Stir again and garnish with a bay leaf.

𝐈𝐧𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬:
½ oz lime juice
¾ oz lavender and dry spice syrup
¾ oz ginger tea
1 ½ oz Ketel One Vodka
𝐌𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐝:
Shake with ice, strain into a tall glass with ice and garnish with orange slice and lavender.

𝐈𝐧𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬:
40 ml Mancino Vermouth Chinato
45 ml blend of 30 ml Café Mezcal, 20 ml Amontillado sherry, 10 ml Cacao (Mix well and rest in bottle for 24 hours)
𝐌𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐝:
Mix and strain into coupe glass. Garnish with orange peel for final finish.
17:31 Thomas Girard from Operation Dagger making a Banana-Hi Cocktail
𝐈𝐧𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬:
40ml Salty Banana*
120ml fresh coconut water
*- cut a 3 to 4 bananas in thin slices
- dehydrate them with a pinch of salt on top (7hours @70°C in the oven)
- infuse 125gr of dehydrated salty bananas in 1000ml of spirit (Michters Bourbon or Nikka Coffey Grain both work well) for 48hrs at room temperature
- strain through a cloth and bottle
𝐌𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐝:
Build over ice in a highball glass and stir.

20ml Gentian Liqueur
20ml Passionfruit Cordial

London Essence Peach and Jasmine Soda Top Up

Shake and strain. Pour over cubed ice.

1oz Campari
1oz Mancino Rosso Italiano
Top with Perrier

Pour into a glass over ice and stir. Garnish with an orange slice.

30 ml Espresso “1 single espresso”
1 bar spoon sugar syrup

Shake with ice. Strain. Garnish with coffee beans.

20 ml Dry Sherry

Stir and strain in a chilled coupe glass – garnish with cherry.
