It's very normal for babies to get hiccups but it would probably be a greater concern to you than it is to your baby. If she gets them while you're feeding her, stop nursing, and try changing her position and burping her for about 5-10 minutes and if they still haven't gone away at that point start nursing her again and it's likely that they'll disappear once you start feeding her again. Again, the change in position and just helping her to prevent her from becoming overfed can help reduce the chances that she'll get them. Pause, take a break, change her position and then try latching her back on. One of the best things you can do to try to reduce the chance that your baby gets hiccups is to nurse her in a quiet and calm atmosphere. If babies are distracted it can increase the likelihood that they'll get hiccups.
