Enable additional instrument cluster screen that will show you current oil temperature in your Volkswagen Golf MK7. Now you can monitor engine status not only with coolant temperature gauge. After enabling this option with coding, you can hide it from the vehicle data menu by turing it off in the infotainment screen. You can still control engine #oil temperature in the offroad disaply of the infotainment unit.
