Looking for some miniatures to act as proxy Imperial Guards for Warhammer 40K? Perhaps you have another game in mind, but still want some great and affordable miniatures.

Wargames Atlantic has a potential solution to fit that bill. In this video, I review their Les Grognard Command and Heavy Support Boxed Set. Basically, this is their equivelant to 28mm Heavy Weapons teams made by another company. Instead of getting 3 teams at $40 (USD), you get 6 teams at $34.95 if you go with Wargames Atlantic. That makes this company's product an extreme value if you are looking to affordably buy into Imperial Guards.

Mind you, these miniatures would be proxy models, so you might not be allowed into official tournaments with them. That said, if you are just playing with your friends or at a club that allows proxies, then these miniatures are fantastic.

Of course, you could use these miniatures for other games too. Basically anything sci-fi and in 28mm could use these miniatures. I also keep hoping that Wargames Atlantic releases their own game for all of their Death Fields miniatures.
