Your 6 p.m. weather forecast for July 7, 2022: All of the active weather has shifted well to the south over the last 24 hours leaving us under the brief influence of high pressure across northern Ohio. As a result, we've enjoyed a northeast wind and slightly less humid conditions. That trend continues tonight with partly cloudy skies and lows in the low to mid 60s.
Another wave of low pressure will approach from the west on Friday bringing increasing clouds and an area of rain off of storms well to our south. We'll deal with some rain locally, but the best concentration will be the further south you're located as this system tracks along the Ohio River. Once this system passes tomorrow afternoon, we'll begin to clear out late in the day through Friday night as high pressure moves back in. Temps will reach into the 80s tomorrow.
