I kept on getting this question from my sister, so I decided to record this, because quite honestly it took me a LONG time to learn this also. This is how I print AND cut my planning inserts (you could use this same process for any type of planning inserts for your planner.)
First Option: Using the US Letter File
- open up the US letter file from the planning insert template you have
- print with the following settings: Orientation (landscape), Paper Size (US Letter), Print Size (Actual Size)
- cut down the mark lines of your template
- hole punch (in the size you need for your planner)
Second Option: Using the Personal Size File (or any planner size)
- open up the Personal Size file from the planning insert template you have
- print with the following settings: Orientation (Portrait), Paper Size (3.75''x6.75''), Print Size (Actual Size)
- print on already cut paper in 3.75'' x 6.75'' size
- hole punch (in the size you need for your planner)
