In the Middle Ages there were many silly reasons you would be called a witch. From birthmarks to simply being left-handed being called a witch was something anyone could get accused of during the mid-evil era. The reasons people were called a witch during the Middle Ages were mainly due to the superstition in that period. But being called a witch in the middle ages were often times well at least to me seems very over done. To put it lightly. The witch accusations in the middle ages lacked common sense. Witch accusations that also mainly targeted woman. Woman were the main targets of being called a witch in the middle ages.
