“I still haven’t had that moment where I feel like I’ve made it,” says Natalie Portman, in the latest episode of our How I Got Here video series. “That’s what keeps me trying new things, because it doesn’t feel like a destination, it feels like a journey.”

Given that the actress has won an Oscar for her outstanding performance in Black Swan and also has a host of Golden Globes to her name, it would be hard for anyone to agree with this self-depreciating summary – and yet Portman’s quest for fresh, challenging roles has arguably made her the success she is today.
