Gizdodo as it is locally called in Nigeria is a delicious dish most often served as an appetizer or side-dish. As the name suggests, it is the combination of poultry gizzards and ripe fried plantains (called dodo, in the Yoruba dialect). In this recipe, I used turkey gizzard because I typically prefer turkey gizzard over chicken gizzard, but that is just a my preference. Chicken Gizzard can also be used for this dish.

* Turkey gizzards (cut into small peices)
* Ripe Plantain
* Blended tomatoes and red bell pepper
* Chopped red onions
* Chopped red bell pepper
* Seasoning : ground dry pepper, thyme, curry, salt, bouillon/stockcubes
* Adobo mixed seasoning : contains a mixture of ground garlic, parsley,onion
* Canola oil
