Based on the most recent soil analysis report, a nutrient management plan was created for John O'Connells farm. The purpose of this plan which addressed soil ph status, P&K requirements, nitrogen requirements and efficient and targeted use of slurry and farmyard manure was to enable John to grow enough grass to match the existing farm stocking rate.
