This part of the Character Animation HowTo series. In this video we are going to learn How to use Animation Retargeting with Mixamo characters
- First we are to learn what root motion and why we a root bone to Mixamo characters and how to add them
- We are going to create an IK rig and IK Retargeter and learn how to tweak the animations further
- Then we are going use the default a UE5 animation blueprint and retarget them to a new Mixamo character
- Replace the BP third person character mesh with the character and use Mixamo animations with root motion.
