On Friday we got a call from a reporter from Inside Edition.  They had come across the videos that Dad and I have made and shared online of his journey with FTD. They asked if we had heard about Bruce Willis in the news and his recent diagnosis of FTD and if we would be willing to do an interview. How could we say no to a once in a lifetime opportunity.  They were looking for some insight on the disease from Richard's perspective and what words of encouragement he had to offer Bruce Willis and his family. So here is his reaction to the news. 

Richard Pontious and I started making these videos to document his journey with FTD and to help bring awareness to how Frontal Lobe Dementia may impact a person's life.  It has been a little over five years since he was diagnosed and he loves to share how it impacts his life so it might help someone else out there dealing with the same thing or caring for a loved one.  As usual he did a great job!  He is such an inspiration with his positive attitude.
