This is a very young June Anderson singing this Victor Herbert song for a live concert by The United States Coast Guard Band in May of 1972. The song was written for and introduced in the operetta Naughty Marietta, which originally opened in Syracuse, New York on October 24, 1910. Despite Ms. Anderson's tender age, our band was impressed with the talent we saw within her!
