Fellow Rokinon users! Read the description below! (I didn't edit this video because my computer is not powerful enough to do so at the moment. Blame a 7 year old pentium D) So what you see here is exactly how long it took me to declick my lens.
Declicking this lens is actually very easy. All you need to do this mod is a thin piece of electrical tape, a screw driver, and a pair of scissors. A total of 7 screws is all it takes to gain access to the manual aperture focus ring in order to remove the spring and steel ball bearing that makes the clicking sound at each f stop.

You want to use a 3/4" of electrical tape and not 1" or 1.5". why? Electrical tape has weak glue polymers which will eventually spread along the inside of the lens, causing the lens to become mirky, sluggish, and tough to rotate. You also want to put the electrical tape directly across from the f/8.0 aperture marking on the inside of the lens. This is the best part i've found to put the tape which will not have any issues with catching the other sides of the lens (so that the tape doesn't come up or jam the aperture dial).
I also had a loose lens hood when i received my rokinon 35mm lens and used some electrical tape on the inside of the lens hood to add friction to the hood so that it doesn't fall off. I recommend that you do this if you have a flimsy lens hood.
