Your September night sky forecast is here! In the Americas, Europe, and Western Africa, look for a partial lunar eclipse on September 17 and 18. The Northern edge of the Moon will darken as it passes through Earth’s shadow. This is a fun precursor to the total lunar eclipse next March! And everywhere else, keep an eye out for a great view of Saturn all month long. Earth will be passing between Saturn and the Sun, meaning the planet will rise at sunset, and set at dawn. Stay tuned for more astronomical updates!
