15 alleged gang members illegally possessed guns and conspired to import and sell fentanyl, meth and other drugs out of a Cleveland apartment community, the United States Attorney's Office alleges in a federal indictment unsealed on Friday.
The 33-count superseding indictment charges alleged members of the Fully Blooded Felons, an offshoot of the Heartless Felons street gang which the Department of Justice says was active in Northeast Ohio and in several Ohio prisons, with participating in a conspiracy to import and distribute fentanyl, methamphetamine, cocaine and buprenorphine. Buprenorphine is an opioid that is used to treat pain and drug addiction but can be lethal if taken in high doses or when mixed with other substances.
“The indictment alleges that Raven Mullins and other members of the Fully Blooded Felons operated an open-air drug market, distributing the deadliest types of drugs sold on Cleveland’s streets," U.S. Attorney Rebecca C. Lutzko said in a news release.
