Impulse & Inhibition – Part 1
Budapest-based DJ and producer CT Kidobó has been experimenting with electronic music for the last decade. Although previously operating under a different name, his CT Kidobó project has caught with over recent years with releases for Earth Plates and Dalmata Daniel. Now CT Kidobo joins forces with the ever-excellent Zone label from Paris for a four track EP orientated around a laidback, daytime sound, with plans for a darker, ‘sounds of the night’ chapter planned for the months ahead.

Budapest, Hungary. CT stands for Corvin Tető, a notorious club in the '90s and 2000s scene, at the dirtiest traffic junction in the centre of Budapest. Kidobó meaning bouncer, he is probably the fittest member of the Electro/techno scene, and his mixes as a DJ are keeping the crowd grooving all night long – playing at venues like, Ill Panorama, Toldi, Lärm and Koloradó Fesztivál or even forest RAVEs. His very first release as a producer making a debut on the Dalmata Daniel label, CT Kidobó started making beats since he heard Mr. Oizo’s Flat Beat, his sound is difficult to describe, mixing lots of influences and moving between genres from idm, electro, house, techno, acid.
