The brand-new chamber musical version of INDECENT PROPOSAL gets its world premiere at London's Southwark Playhouse, inspired by the original Jack Engelhard novel that sparked a worldwide debate and was later adapted into the 1993 hit film starring Demi Moore, Woody Harrelson and Robert Redford.
Atlantic City. 1988. Jonny and Rebecca are very much in love and very much in debt. When wealthy stranger Larry Harris arrives in town and offers Rebecca a million dollars to spend a night with him, will the lure of money outweigh the promise of fidelity?
After packed fourth preview performance on Thursday 28 October 2021 at London's Southwark Playhouse, Terri Paddock chaired a post-show discussion with Dylan Schlosberg (composer), Michael Conley (book & lyrics), Neil Marcus (producer), Charlotte Westenra (director), John Reddel (musical supervisor & arranger), cast members Jacqui Dankworth, Norman Bowman, Ako Mitchell, Lizzy Connolly and Connor Going (musical director, busker & keyboards).
