In this video I will show you how to How to Bypass the blinking light on all ULTIMATE SPEED battery chargers.
Pulse charging mode is a good thing but sometimes we are in a hurry or the charger refuses to start regular charging when the battery is deeply discharged.
The mode is suitable for the charging/regenerationof empty, used and overcharged 12 V lead-acidbatteries.When the charger is connected to a battery andthe charging process starts it automatically recognises the battery voltage. It will switch to pulsecharging mode if the voltage is in the range of7.5 V ± 0.5 V to 10.5 V ± 0.5 V.This pulse charging process is continued until thebattery voltage has increased to 10.5 V ± 0.5 V. As soon as this state is reached, the charger switchesover to the previously selected normal charging.
Anyway, in the video I was using a simple 12 V DC adapter to raise the voltage a little bit to force the unit to charge in normal mode. As the battery in this case was 4.5 A/H I decided and it is better to use the "motorcycle" 12 V mode which will output lower amperage to make it safely for the battery.
