It was a sunny day and we were out! Could not go out of the city due to pandemic, so dig up the treasures of the city itself!

The Royal Mile is a succession of streets forming the main thoroughfare of the Old Town of the city of Edinburgh in Scotland. The Royal Mile runs between two significant locations in the Royal history of Scotland - Edinburgh Castle and Holyrood Palace. The total length of the streets between castle and the palace is almost a mile. The Royal Mile is the busiest tourist street in the Old Town.
Reach the Castle esplanade and look back at the Royal Mile, you will get a splendid view of the Hub, the camera obscura and the buildings along the street.

The Victoria street is one of the most photographed location of Edinburgh. The gentle curve and colourful shops make this place a major tourist attraction. The Victoria Street was built between 1829-34.

The small alleyways and courtyards are called as close or wynd in Scottish terms.
