🎸 This guitar lesson is how to play power chords on the guitar that sound terrific and not terrible! In this guitar increase video guitar tutorial you will learn from the beginner's basics to intermediate and even advanced techniques that make power chords sound great without all the unwanted noises. Power chords are just two notes and they sound smooth and clean when done right because many times with a musical instrument: "Less is more!" Technically, "more is more" but "less notes" can sound "better" than "more notes" many times in music. Although the examples in this power chord tutorial are played in the style of hard rock and light rock, these guitar playing techniques can be used for many other styles and genres of music.
🎸 I am not yet sponsored by any brands but if you would like to know, I am using a Line 6 Pod Go with an amp simulation of an EVH amp for the distorted tones and a Fender Dual Reverb amp for the clean tones. I am playing an Ibanez Gio guitar with a Guitar Nutbuster that helps it stay in tune better. I use Dunlop Tortex .60 mm picks. I use D'Addario XT 9-42 strings. I use GHS Fast Fret. I wear Egnaro silicone wedding bands because they don't make noise on the guitar like steel rings do.
