Building on the success of the 2021 webinar series, the Advisory Council on Historic Preservation again is inviting college students to participate in an informative and beneficial lineup of four webinars this spring semester. The series features interactive conversations with leaders in the field of historic preservation, as well as inspirational individuals who are engaged in preserving, restoring, interpreting, and discussing the history and heritage of African Americans in the United States through the power of historic sites.
The second webinar in the series took place February 23, 2022 and featured Steve T. Phan, Chief of Interpretation, Education, and Visitor Services, Camp Nelson National Monument, NPS; Jeff Neale, Director of Preservation and Interpretation, Middleton Place Foundation, Charleston, SC; and, Eola Lewis Dance, Superintendent, Fort Monroe National Monument, NPS, Virginia.
