There are polar opinions on the Griptilian and at least for the benchmade knives that I've carried I feel that the Griptilian is a better choice than the 940. The one that I experienced for the 940 the axis lock got caught up on things in my pocket and the action seemed a bit sluggish.
I did get it serviced so it will be back to me this week so I can see if there was an issue with the 940 or my opinion might be the same.
