DID OUR KOI FISH GROW AND HOW DID THEY DEVELOP LAST YEAR?!
Every year in autumn after growing season we catch our Koi to see if they reached the goals we set a year before.
In the blue bowl we measure them, photograph and film them and off course we can enjoy our beloved Koi!
By measuring the Koi we know the growth of the fish and we can follow the development of them.
This is also the moment to check if they have any damages before we cover up the Koipond for the winter.
In this part 2 you see some really big mama's: Jumbo Koi from Marudo Koifarm, Marusei (Hirasawa) and Izumya Koi farm.
0:55 The 85cm Jumbo Soragoi from Marusei Koifarm (Yoshiyuki Hirasawa)
5:38 a 86cm BIG Ginrin Chagoi bred by the legendary Marudo Koifarm
8:30 Comparing the bodytype of Koi from Marudo vs. Hirasawa
12:42 A sparkling Izumiya Yamabuki Ogon on 80cm.
16:41 Measuring the Tamaura Sanke, not a big grower but a nice and elegant Koi carp.

Unfortunately after measuring and filming four Koi it's starts to rain so we had to quit filming. Maybe there will be a part 3 of our measuring festival at a later moment this year or in Spring of 2021!
Please join us at our Measuring Festival part 2 of 2020 of our own backyard Koipond! If you have any question or reaction, please put them below the video! If you like the video, please 👍🏻 the video!
