On May 29, 2014, David J. Hayes, distinguished visiting lecturer, former Deputy Secretary of the Interior, Senior Fellow at the William and Flora Hewlett Foundation, and Vice-Chair of the President's Wildlife Trafficking Advisory Council, delivered a public lecture on illegal wildlife trafficking.
Hayes discussed this international crisis which is financing terrorists, destabilizing governments and threatening the existence of some of the world's most iconic wildlife species including elephants and rhinos.
