Effective Altruism has a lot of targeted outreach, but relatively little marketing aimed towards the general public. Maarten Mulder is the director of the Kinder Foundation, which uses modern marketing research to convince a broad audience to donate more effectively. Their main finding is that small “nudges” are especially helpful, rather than direct appeals to effectiveness metrics.
