Manufacturing a complete removable prosthesis with the hot curing resin technique involves the use of a flask and a silicone mask.
The flask is a special mould in which the wax-up model is placed and held in position thanks to the stone.
The silicone mask, instead, is prepared to protect the wax-up model and its main purpose is to smooth the following steps of polishing once the prosthesis is ready, thus allowing the dental technician to save great deal of time, without compromising the quality of the final restoration.
