Starting the new year with a BANGER of a song.

Found this gem random on Spotify and have not yet stopped jamming it every time I'm at my kit.

I put some more lights up in the rehearsal room and decided to let them go NUTS for this fun song :D

Had one major fail with this recording session:
I re-tuned the 12" rack tom so I removed the mic.
Guess who found out AFTER filming and packing up again for 4 hours that the mic was still laying around loosely on the bass drum.
Yes, that was me.
So I went the easier route and decided not to re-do a recording but I just put some midi drums in place. The 12" tom you hear is from PIV. Obviously my own tom in the overheads and room mic, but the close micing was 'faked in' via post production.
