More blennies! This time not Alticus saliens (I also have a short video about those), but what Tokyo Sea Life Park describes as ヤセタマカエルウオ, Alticus orientalis (probably A. orientalis Tomiyama). This is a species that has very few mentions in a Google search, and may not even be officially recognized by science in general. Nevertheless, these are blennies, and they leap and jump, so I guess they qualify as "leaping blennies" by some definition. What a cool little fish.
Modified Google translation of last image:
"Fish on land! ?
There is a fish that is not in the water but on a rock. This is a blenny. How many can you find? They can breathe not only through their gills but also through their skin, so they are fine even when outside of the water. They move by hopping and jumping across rocks, and use their downward-pointing mouths to eat the algae on the rocks."
