This video wouldn’t have been possible without my wonderful mother! After visiting the Whistler Train Wreck for the first time, we were so impressed with the vibe that we knew we had to come back and record. It’s such a unique and special spot for anyone in Whistler.
One of the highlights was seeing graffiti artists in action, turning the abandoned boxcars into incredible works of art. Watching their creativity unfold was an unforgettable experience.
In this video, I perform my alto saxophone cover of Uptown Funk right on top of one of the old boxcars with many angles along that. The mix of music, graffiti, and nature created a setting that made this performance really funky.
History: the site dates back to 1956 when a freight train derailed, leaving several boxcars in the forest. Over the years, it’s become a local attraction, known for its colorful graffiti and outdoor atmosphere.
I hope you enjoy the performance! Don’t forget to like, comment, and subscribe for more musical adventures in unique places!
