In this video, I visited SAGA, a Michelin two-star restaurant in NYC that I consider to be the apex of fancy new American fine dining.
The team was very international and the food drew inspiration from all across the globe. Every dish was beautifully presented, and I encountered multiple interpretations of different ideas in one setting. The flavor was as good as it looked and the duck was divine. There was never a dull moment during my extended 4-hour dining. It might be flashy to some, but I absolutely loved it. It’s now one of my favorite Michelin restaurants.
