Recently, my family and I restored my great-grandmother's 1967 Ford Mustang. We had sold it and wanted to buy it back a few years later but learned it had been sold again and torn apart to be built into a race car. It had been ruined by barn rats and other animals crawling inside it but we decided to take on the challenge. We owned it for about 4 years and just kept it in parts in our garage until one summer we finally started restoring it. It took about a month and a half to get it completely masked and painted then we started rebuilding it. We replaced the headliner, carpet, and windshields. It still has the original dash, seats, and V6 motor.
