I've always loved Fatboy Slim's 98 classic The Rockafeller Slank from his You've Come a Long Way, Baby album. I then discovered the sample which I love as well, can't remember when I first found/heard it. A Northern Soul classic called Sliced Tomatoes from Just Brothers. They were an American musical duo of the brothers Jimmy and Frank Bryant and several session musicians. I decided to take Sliced Tomatoes and make it mix friendly, give it a little more of a Breakbeat feel and add the Rockafeller Slank vocals on top. An edit thats perfect for fans of Northern Soul, Breakbeat, and Fatboy Slim. Making the Northern Soul shine through more with a hint of Rockafeller Skank.
